The rooms in my house
Are too many to count
And each with a secret of its own
There's a room filled with sunlight
Another with dust
And one where the wolves
Like to roam

There are skeletons in the
Cupboards, snakes in the beds
And corpses shuffling in
The cellar
There are bats in the attic
And a madwoman cackling
That I'll never be able
To kill her

There's a room without time
And another with roses
Yet another with dreams
Of treason
I can walk through my house
To uncover its secrets
But never its logic
Nor reason
