Oh little Dove
Who flies all day
Only to return at night
To sing and play

And little Dove
That does sing so well
Your singing pierces my heart
For even the greatest man it can fell

So I await you return
My hopes continue to shine
For I am your master
As you are mine

And so I see you very little
But every glimpse is a gift
And so you stay and play a while
But at the end you always shift

So I wait and wait
And when you do not come
I wait a little longer
Till the day is truly done

For you are My little dove
Who loves to sing and play
And when you stay out all night

are we missing the last line?

nice thoughts but birds do not sing at night unless a full moon and even then it is rare
