None can know the extent of my hurt
clouded it carries through time.
Love is not easy to my lonesome spirit.
For a while I knew it, love rescued
my faltering light which knew not a touch
and in that night we shared our embrace.
I am still in your arms, sharing your breath.
Sharing your dreams though it was years ago,
the tear rolls down my cheek
kissed with an eternal light that is yours
never to be extinguished, caught in rain,
in a waterfall, moonlight on rippled water.

~~

The anguish of love when love is denied and your heart is left empty and wanting.
