Do you hear my heart skip a beat?
Have you not felt this burning heat?
I stop breathing when I see your face,
When you are near me my heart begins to race.
How could I ever tell you the love I feel for you,
Could you ever love me too?
Your skin looks as smooth as lace,
My heart beats a too fast a pace.
I am forced to have a seat,
Before I fall off my feet.
My head soars above the clouds as if on cue.
Just to look upon you is such a treat,
Not to touch you is quite a feat.
As it always is when you're the case,
My heart does a a thump thump giving chase.
It's the little things I notice with my sight,
Your chest pulls your shirt taunt and tight.
If my heart were an open book it would be a sight,
When I look inside me I hope my brain loses and my heart wins the fight.
