Hello everyone. This is my first shot at writing poetry. This poem popped into my head today and I felt like publishing it here on Lit. Please comment what you think about it. Constructive Criticism only please! Also, I have tried to edit this poem to the best of my ability. I apologize in advance if I didn't catch everything.

My love,
I am right here besides you,
Holding you.
I promise
I shall hold you all night
If you allow me too.
My love, your eyes are beautiful.
Your heart is pure.
Your mind is sharp.
Everyday I am with you
I love you more.
My love, without you,
I am nothing
I am empty.
I am grey.
I am a body without a soul.
I am a woman yes,
And so are you
But does it matter?
I love you today.
I will love you tomorrow.
I shall love you until
Time has no more meaning.
My love,
I want to wake up besides you.
Today.
Tomorrow.
For all time.
I want to wake up,
See your face in the sunlight,
Hear your laugh twinkle in the moonlight,
And kiss you for all eternity.
Love holds no bounds.
It does not discriminate.
It does not hurt.
It does not preach hatred.
My love, I love you.
