I want to hold you close forever.
I want to take your breath away
to feel your eyes upon me
to share your every day.
I wish to lay my hands upon you
to hold your face in my hands
to have your lips upon me
but you hide from who I am.
I wish to see your mind
to understand your pain
to see into your darkness
but instead you turn away.
I wish that we could be one
to wake you again at dawn
to make you my posession
but you are already gone.
