My Lovers Room

In my lovers room
We share her bed
Soft wet kisses hardened aroused nipples
We talk and caress, laugh and cough
Together find the peace we lack
In the world
We give each other pleasure
And get our pleasure too

Yawn and softly touch
Feel sleep steal over us
Though I sleep much better
Drained, desire satisfied

In my lovers room we share
The secrets and stories
We won’t or don’t dare with others
Or tell reluctantly since they
May not comprehend as well

Both of us adult and aware
Of life’s fleeting pleasures, its
Total impermanence
In my lovers room
We share all this and more
