I have a magic Genie
Who appears upon demand
My Genie's in my Magic Lamp
The finest in the land

And all I have to do to make
Him visible to me
Is give my Magic Lamp a rub
He springs onto the scene

My Magic Lamp is special and
No other's is the same
It's fun to touch and fun to rub
I rub it every day

Most of the time my Magic Lamp
Is under my control
But other times its mind runs wild
And shakes my very soul

My Magic Lamp's had many friends
The stories he could tell
So many years, so many hands
Have rubbed him very well

Still other friends he's had preferred
To kiss him on the head
Or make him vanish. What a treat!
Or play with him in bed

His favorite playmates he has had
The ones that he's liked best
Were little friends with little caves
Explored from east to west

My Magic Lamp is often told
That he should take it slow
"Please let my little cave expand
And give her room to grow"

But while my Lamp has always met
With friends he's known for years
He cannot help but wonder how
A different friend would feel

While thinking 'bout a brand new friend
My Magic Lamp I rub
I make a wish that this new friend
Will like my Lamp so much

That every day he'll close his eyes
And picture how he'll rub
As we enjoy our fun new game
The Genie from it sprung

My friend will know he surely has
The Touch to rub my Lamp
The Genie freed from deep inside
His hands will be so damp

And as he rubs my Magic Lamp
This thought will cross his mind
"I'd love to show this Magic Lamp
Another friend of mine"

"My other friend is warm and wants
To please the Lamp as well
I've never had a friend like this"
We're nervous, both, as hell

He'll probably say, "It's all ok
This friend, he will not bite
It may look strange for just a bit
But try it, may we might?"

I'll give this brand new friend a chance
To walk this brand new road
And find my Magic Lamp has many
Genies to unload

His lips and cave, both warm and wet
My Lamp will slip inside
He'll look at me, I'll look at him
And soon we must decide

Should I allow my Genie to
Be captured in his cave
That certainly would be a move
That I'd consider brave

Or maybe we will watch
My Genie spring into the air
My Lamp would sure love that as well
It's safe without a care

I'm first to say it surely is
A problem fun to solve
Where Genies come and Genies go
Exciting skills evolve

And also I will surely find
A Lamp within my hands
Is firm and soft and spongy and
At full attention stands

I'm sure to rub another's Lamp
Is quite unlike your own
You to have pay attention to
What's said and what is moaned

And with a lot of practice and
Some timing and some care
Two Magic Lamps will free at once
Two Genies in the air

And that is what I wish to see
And what I wish to do
To find a Magic Lamp like mine
And him to find one too

So if you have an interest
In what I have conveyed
And if you've never touched a
Magic Lamp 'cause you're afraid

I think that we're in the boat the same
At least that's what they say
Two owners of two Magic Lamps
Together never played

But that could change quite possibly
If one would be so bold
Admit the secret kept inside
For years but never told

This invitation is my hope
Your curiosity
Is half and deep and half as wide
As mine inside of me
