I can't separate between genuine emotions.
And the insignificant conviction of a few sentiments.
There's an inclination I can't exactly clarify.
It travels every which way.
And it torments.
As though somebody is pulling on my heart.
At some point or another.
I'll be torn apart.
My heart is seething inside.
An irate tempest.
Downpour made of tears I can't choke back.
I can't make it leave.
It continues returning once more.
That's how I know.
My heart is destitute.
Keep it all in I say.
Develop a dam.
Try not to give them access.
I'm calm and alone.
I lie and say I'm alright.
Wearing a grin.
So they can't see.
What I'm keeping.
I need to vanish.
But my heart is in the way.
