I feel like an animal
locked within this cage
my heart's filled with sadness
my eyes filled with rage
they all try so hard
to keep me on the ground
but I always rise above
even with all the haters around
they can lock up my body
never my spirit or mind
all I do is close my eyes
and my own freedom I can find
