Dog's can't smile until a lovely lady
holds a mirror up to us, trains our eyes,
and trains us to learn what we're taught.
Speaking as one, perhaps partially,
I'll remind her never--NEVER
give up halfway on a a body set into motion.
And while I learn to bark less, we become
better at protecting each other; mutually
exclusive like the space outside of identical twins.
I love my owner.
She tends to her walls,
then I walk her, and sometimes we cuddle too.
