Thunderous clouds cover my soul.
The weight on my heart is taking its toll.
The rain is pounding into me,
my madness they will soon see.

I can feel reality losing its grip.
My memories are starting to slip.
Meaningless thoughts tumble in my head.
Like words in a book, I never read.

Save me from this evil place,
before I vanish without a trace.
Quickly my life is fading fast,
before my dreams die at last.

My days are dark, without meaning.
The nights are full of endless dreaming.
My pain tells stories in my sleep.
I try to hold on to something for me to keep.

Insanity covers me.
Throught the mist I can hardly see.
As sadness wraps its arms around me,
the wind blows my final thought from me.
