I remember a time, when you were mine
Memorizing your words, I knew every line

Memorizing your face, your smile and your eyes
Such a deep, dark brown, ready to hynotize

I remember your voice, southern and deep
Memories are all I have now, mine to keep

Now someone else looks into your eyes
They see your smile, it too can hynotize

Now she's your baby, your reason to live
Maybe she can give you what I wasn't able to give

Maybe she won't hurt you, or ever let you down
She can be there for you, I was never around

You thought I cheated, I went astray
I went to someone else, but it wasn't that way

I never did you wrong, I couldn't, I loved you
I needed and wanted you, God I still do

I miss you more then you'll ever know
More then my pride will let me show

You'll never know my pain, the pain of losing you
Knowing I'll never again be close to you

It kills me inside, it makes me feel weak
Some days I can't breathe, some days I can't speak

But to you I am strong, nothing bothers me
You'll never know my pain, I refuse to let you see.
