Do grudge the sun
It's dazzling brilliance
Which in lines harsh and true
Illuminates
The world that we are.
On such days, in such a time
One wishes
Would that a cloud
Could appear, and diffuse
The dazzle
Soften the harshness
Of what we see.
This high noon of my life,
Such a cloud are you.
