I walk towards the sunset hoping for a better view
I stroll through the park deeply lost in thought
I sit among the tall trees wondering what to do
Forever in this exquisite dream I'm caught

Shining it's light to lead the way in my confusion
The sun sinks lower till swallowed by the sea
Illuminating the way like the lighthouse beacon
The closer I get the deeper it sinks into me

Watching the stars glitter through the branches
Through colors stretched across this patchwork clouded sky
Night sounds filter in and cause my mind to wander
One thought then another ricocheting through my mind

When nature has soothed my worries, little ones and big
And questions all are answered to solutions I have sought
With my spirit washed in nature's healing balm
I go back home to live the dream I've bought
