I need you more than I need air, because air is not worth breathing without your scent in it,
it is empty and a cold void, without your perfume.
I don't need a nose if it can't touch your hair when I kiss your neck and breathe you in,
nor a mouth if I can't taste your lips, your tongue, the whole of you, every single day.
I need you because the world is an empty canvass without your silhouette in it, and empty and blank is every room I'll ever get in, without you in it, blank as every person's face I see on the street, if you're not with me.
I need your voice because the silence might drive me crazy without the sound of you, you're the music of the world and if I can't hear you, the world is a silent tomb.
Without your touch, why do I need to feel?
So come around little girl, you already have a home, it is in my arms.
