She was an immortal exception.
Restless as rattlings
on a snakes tail, she was.
Spine swiped by a fluttering flyer,
she spawned a butterfly tide of yearning.
She lay naked, waiting
for the wind to change,
while it rained on the horned
artist
who dared paint her picture.
