like a thousand taunting children
theirs whispers on the wind
their words eat at my soul
like some immortal sin.
"He can love youuuu..."
I am center stage
sweating from the light
Fear of the audiance
and the words they speak this night
"He can never love youuuu..."
Inside my head
swimming past my eyes
the truth is over-rated
let me live upon the lies.
"He will love you back...someday."
