I never got to tell you that I loved you
Though I love you still
Your face returns to me in dreams
Of how our life could of been.
Tell me why you left me
So rudely and abrupt
My sweet little boy
Will never be quarterback
He'll never open his eyes
And tell me he loves me.
My precious little one
Will never fall in love
And I'll always wonder
What would have been.
And now I have your ashes
And your pictures to remember
That one special hour that I met you
Forever mommy's angel
