Never let me go,
She whispers to him one night,
Why would I let you go?
He asks her in shock,
I don’t know I just have this feeling,
She whispers in return,
I’m scared of what I would be,
If you ever left me,
(Never let me go)
I don’t want to feel like,
Im floating along with no one to turn to,
I don’t want to be lost in a sea of longing,
(Never let me go)
I don’t want to feel like I’ve been left out in the cold,
I just want you to love me she whispers,
I need to be needed; I need you to need me,
I don’t want to be clingy but I can’t help it,
You mean more to me then anyone else ever has,
So please, never let me go,
You know I’ll never be untrue,
But can I say the same about you? I’m not sure,
I trust you but am I being foolish?
So please if you love me as you claim,
Never let me go.
