My eyes are open
But still I can’t see
Night engulfs me
Filling my throat
I gasp at the cold
And begin to choke
The breath in my ear
Soothes me
Surrendering begins
Consumed with guilt
I release to the fear
Evil strokes my hair softly
I fall helplessly
Into a trance
Temptation and greed
Dance gracefully on my lips
Slowly but eagerly
They slide into my mouth
Teasing my tongue
Exciting my senses
Blind still, but
No longer afraid
I await their touch impatiently
Anxious for more
Never quite satisfied
Never quite the same.
