------------------------------

It is said you have to be crazy
To be part of a long distance love.
Well, that may or may not be true.
All I know is we fit like a glove.

While there may be miles between us
And we can't be together as we'd like,
I will always be there when you beckon,
Even if all I can do is hitchhike.

We have overcome all we have encountered
And these miles were hard on us at times,
But I know our love will always be strong
And will not let the miles change our minds.

In my heart, my soul and my mind,
Is where you always are,
And you fill my life with joy.
Thus, my love, you're never very far.

Thanks...

Thank you for your comment MyZenTrail. It is truly appreciated.

And now that you mentioned it... it reminds me of the moon as well... invoking similar feelings and emotions.

However, to heck with metaphors, I can think of at least one thing I'd prefer milking other than the miles... hahaha

Sincerely,

long distance

reminds me of the moon, can never reach it,

yet it enchants, calls, shines and watches,

perhaps this was the muse (-.-)

twist a metaphor~milk the miles~
