New York is lovely this time of year,
Especially when the colors begin to appear.
Though right now it's cold as ice,
Playing in the snow can feel real nice.
Having snowball fights with a dear good friend,
Can make the day never seem to end.
Playing in the snow can be loads of fun,
Especially if you're with your special someone.
The thing I miss most about N.Y.,
Is summertime, when we would roast some pork.
Along with the hot dogs, hamburgers and such,
Every now and again, that's why I miss it so much.
One day I'll go back, but I don't know when,
For now, Miami's home, until my heart bends.
To see the rich colors, dancing and alive,
That's what I want to see on the last day of my life.
I'd like to go back, though I'm really scared,
I don't think I'd have enough blankets up there.
Though my family's around, I'd prefer my girlfriend,
To keep me warm and the nights to have with her, no end.
There are lots of great spots to go up and see,
But no matter the place, staring into her eyes is the spot for me to be.
To gaze in her eyes, is enough journey for me,
'Cause now where else on Earth would I rather be.
