the colors of the sunset like
chalk on a sidewalk spread before me
so fragile in the moment before darkness
claims the world
the moon comes from behind it's curtain

your imagery is graceful and nicely vivid. One tiny proofreading quibble: the word you're wanting is "its" rather than "it's". Minor, obviously. I really enjoy the way you use imagery. nicely written.
