night closes in.....

The night closes cold around my shoulders
And shivers through me as a breeze in the silence
My skin chills as darkness envelopes me
And I am warmed once more by your love.

Night caresses the landscape and shows itself
Present in the dew below and the clouds above
A night owl screeches through the darkened shadows
And reminds me that everywhere there is life.

I am maintained in the chill evening air
By your breath on my skin
I miss you now though you are so nearby
And the love you have heats my soul.

Your kiss sustains me though it was long ago
And your touch I cannot forsake
Your hands upon me and I tingle so
As I do from the breeze off the ocean nearby

In our bed we touch tentatively teasing
Lips flushed, breath heavy with desire
We let our fingers rove in random unison
Our hearts flutter in joyous union and we sigh in each others’ arms.

The flush from our lips travels to our nipples
And they ache with a desire unmet
We rock gently in the arms of the other
And whisper our undying love.

You take me into your mouth and pull
Me deep into your soul at once
Our hearts pound a beat that makes
Our spirits dance together, always together.

Hands, ice-cold on searing hot flesh
We tingle with every touch
Engorged and enraged our bodies entwine
And our union becomes one of the sacred divine.

We undulate and entwine ad gasp
And sigh and push to the ultimate goal
Together we reach, the pinnacle sought
The rush and flush and release so sublime.
