I feel you near,
the heat flowing
from both our hearts
as the darkness softens
the bareness of our bodies.

Slowly moving hands
over soft skin,
feeling the friction,
tasting the passions
from neck,
from breasts,
from thighs,

you speak in the tongue of the lover
heady with draught.
you laugh and sigh
of the caress of breath through hair.

Locked in embrace
of night heat,
we can see far beyond
the gleam in the eye,
the curve of the lip,
the dart of the tongue.

We sweat in the fires
of passion’s deep furnace,
flame kissed and burning away
the mists of our dawn.
