The brilliance of day
So suggestive
      Burning into the eyes
      marking all that is fair
and golden
surely My stygian nights will hold
the formless
and let Me imbibe the senses

What abyss is that you peer down
      I will walk with none
      Alone in splendour
who shall take My place
      who shall I appoint

When the world stops
Do We all fly off into space
