As white wings, fold out and take flight,
Dark skies abound,we enter the world in fright.
Blarring cannons, and repeated sounds of gun fire,
Silence and peace, is all the nation desires.

Cold, crimson red, fall in droplets to the floor,
The screams and the crying, all too hard to ignore.
As the news warns out to ring a bell,
Of honor, dignity, hope, and despair.

The nation falls, into a grieving moment of pause,
An act of terrorism, happening all to one cause.
Of greed, power, and a decisive charm,
Nothing good comes from it, nothing but harm.

Therefore I speak, speak for our nation,
This crucial act, is just an ebrassion.
For our country is strong and full of hope,
Just take out the terrorists, noose them with a rope
