I learned to love with my head down
My eyes lowered in shame
On the lap of a man who was as close to God
As the ocean bottom to the sky
In a room with no doors
And no chance for escape
He grasped me by the waist
And pulled me down
Forcing himself inside
The demon always wins
Silencing the shock with kisses
Licking away the tears
Forget your shame, you have no voice
He whispers
Angel, martyr, muse
We trade places at the cemetery gates
Deep within me no room for pain
His teeth sinking deep into my neck
Poison flowered bruises like candy
And death at last
Running sweet and hot down my thighs
And upon a stone moument with his name
Where he might sit and wait
Until the moment has passed
And in my ear a whisper
In a room with no doors
I will not let you escape
