When we make love there are no ghosts in the room.
Just you and me, focused on our present pleasure.
We capture our experience in our hearts and psyche,
ours alone, never using photography.
Minds swept free, as with a broom
Our passion will soon abate
We cuddle and caress, the bed a total mess.
Later I smoke a cigarette.
