"No kissing," she said.

That was how it began.

The heat was from the sun gleaming through the window or it might have been a reflection of our bodies.

My arm unfurled to meet hers.

"no kissing," she repeated.

this was how it was going to endure throughout.

The feel of her lips, moist with want, against my skin. The smell of two bodies in friction. The sight of her body in rapture. The taste of the excited air on my tongue. The touch of her in her glory against me.

All of that was mine, but her lips were not.

"no kissing," she said.

Eyes dilated, nostrils flared, sweat glistened.

Bodies slithered to establish dominance. Who would pleasure whom? Who would be the one to make the other verbally decree that this was the moment?

And that's how it ended

'no kissing,' she said.
