I no longer entertain these thoughts
But if I did
These are things I would tell you:

Your words were perfect, almost unabashedly so.
I do believe them to be true and honest
Which is why I no longer entertain these thoughts
(But I do wonder how I got it so wrong)

We are, honestly, trying to work things out
But I, honestly, don't know if we can

I hate the things we would do as much as you
But sometimes you have to look out for you

I have never done anything like this before
I also never see anything like this happening again
Only for you, and what I see between us
But you do not feel it, and for telling me that I am grateful

I walk a fine line between
Lover and stalker
I shouldn't be here
I'm not sure you'll ever read this
Or if you've ever read anything
Yet somehow
Beyond all logic and reason
I'm posting anyway

And now I'll return to no longer entertaining these thoughts...
