Woe to those who stoned Mary. I cut
her from hole to hole but she needed
to release the infection. Now she
is a sad shadow looming everywhere
around her children.

I've been wearing a feather boa, silver
bells, and silk stockings since the coronary.
Please don't notice the scar from my neck
down to my belly. Everything happens in
this space of flesh.
