saviour
in blue jeans

carries cross on hip
much lighter
burden than
the original
masochist is martyr
& vice versa

ISO a magdalene
to kneel & worship
Christos Anesti
hetaera with a heart of gold

the gall
of bitter disappointment
forsaken
by all
even by father

it is finished

its not finished

Needs a title

I loved the word hetaera excellent connections here with a religious twist to the mind of a searching soul. ISO? did not get the meaning and others may also hence, the power of the poem fades some. It is a interesting read. thank you for the journey

why do I need a title?

Found this thru the "portal". Loved it! Printed it out to remember and think about. Thanks

You write some interesting poems, Miss Kitty

but I have to agree with LeBroz that the titles (or lack of them) detracts from the overall presentation of the poem. For example, in this poem you might take "saviour in blue jeans" as the title instead of the first line. Interesting and kind of funny poem. I had to look up the Latin, so I learned something too. Thanks.
