days are shared, pork consumed
nothing spilled except sparkling laughter
kids in jammies, lullabies sung

pressed into pillows
slipping into dreamland

Pa grabs ma's hand and pulls her to darkened bedroom
they tumble into passion
gobbled up by mountains of pillows
no inch of skin left unconquered
no sigh left unreturned
until both satisfied
