80’s.
There is nothing to do
For ghetto guys like me
Better then watching sex movies
In the Times Square of Istanbul.

Due to the stagnant Turkish economy
Movie lounges were always full
With fuck-ups, junkies, retards
Watching movie scans on the wall.

In the dark
Wooden sittings were cracking
But it was cool inside.

On the wide screen
We had allowed to watch dream girls
-In soft core, retro german movies
Fucked by good looking guys.

Number of the theaters became extinct by time
But I remember the young boy watching them
Like a duty in the dark.

Hasan Ali Tokuqin
Istanbul/Turkey
