Bored and alone
Dangerous combination
Neck cranes
Left
Right
Left again
Yes, alone
Tongue moistens lips
Fingertips slide across
Pulling down
Ever so softly
One hand slips south
Eyes close
Memories, fantasies, and fingers dance provocatively
Kneed and pull at warmth
The moment
Just before
Like the ocean pulling back before a tidal wave
Hold it
Revel in it
The release
Letting the weight fall away
The water crashes onto the shore
“Ahem”
Eyes flash open
Significant Other stands
A wry smile
“Can’t I leave the two of you alone for five seconds?”
