We planned to meet, one last time
You looked at me, your face so kind

Babe it’s no good, this must end
If we continue on, our hearts won’t mend

Tears came into my eyes, still I smiled
I love you now, though your feelings are mild

I agree to walk away, from this affair
But I make sure you know, I will always care

Babe I love you, though you don’t love me
I will always belong to you, we’re just not meant to be
