The stares are there as we walk by,
Ignoring them is what I try,
But still it stings and makes me cry,
I'm still not understanding why.

I know I'm older than you are,
You still get carded in a bar,
But when you climb into my car
I feel our love can go so far.

The time you spend just holding me
Helps make me think you'll always be
The one who loves me, makes me see
That you're the one who sets me free.

Our passion can be all we keep
As we serve lust before we sleep,
And enter dreams so very deep,
Where we are one, and love we reap.

Your smile can set the world agleam,
You always treat me as your dream,
When we make love we share our cream,
Our touches make each other steam.

You touch me dear, and make me sigh
And I can send you, oh, so high.
Our bodies know it is no lie,
Without this love we'd surely die.

Society has frowned on us,
I hope it won't be always thus,
It's not a thing we must discuss,
But facing it could be a plus.

So after making love this night
We'll talk of what is wrong or right
In this conjoining that's so tight,
That seems to us a lovely sight.

We know they're cruel, we know they're mean,
We're nothing new, not never seen.
The ugly world won't come between
You'll be my knight, I'll be your queen.
