The couple was quite taken with their darling little girls
They both were extra pretty with their blue eyes and their curls.
But Dad was not contented, though his daughters were a joy,
Until his wife agreed to try once more to have a boy.
When she announced to him that she was in a fam’ly way
His happiness was boundless; she had truly made his day.
As early as they could they found out through an ultrasound,
This time it was a son! And papa strutted all around.
But when the boy was born, he looked into the baby’s face,
And said, “This kid’s so ugly, it is purely a disgrace.
I have two little daughters who are pretty as can be.
I don’t know who his father is; I’m certain it ain’t me.”
He then accused his wife of sneaking out behind his back.
He said some other fellow must have had her in the sack.
“Who were you out a-cheatin’ with? Confess it now and here!”
His wife just smiled so sweetly, told him “Not this time, my dear.”
