NOT TIME YET

To celebrate this spring it's not time yet,
I'll go through this violet sunset,
I'll watch this dusk from when its soul starts bleeding,
I'll pacify my fears with your thought,
In your oblivion, please, forget me not,
I'm your daylight carelessly receding.

To celebrate this spring it's not time yet,
My brains and my pockets are to let,
My life without aim is still proceeding,
I'll take care of my troubles with some work,
I'll move up market, maybe to New York,
Solely from dreams a life cannot be feeding.

I had a recent offer for Frankfurt,
But I declined, thinking it's too brute,
To live with you under the same sky,
Shortly I will be looking for a job,
In any decent place on the globe,
Your sense of distance just to satisfy.

To celebrate this spring it's not time yet,
Like you, in its integrity it's wet,
Like yours, its identity in crisis,
My voice will not be for ever mute,
The time will come to blow my magic flute,
Initiate your mysteries of Isis.
