I see hope as a child of love. You can believe in love even when you lose hope, but if you no longer believe in love, hope is impossible. Both are integral in our lives; only the most damaged in soul or spirit are entirely capable of abandoning love, and thus abandoning hope entirely. I applaud your prose.
