You've popped all the innocence of the bubbles that I blew
My rainbow clouds the proposition of the rain I'm looking through
The skies above are filled with sorrow full
To my eyes, you're a body I would use

How many days will I lie awake
Wishing I could be with you
How many lies will I tell tonight
Trying to get through
How many nights will I sit and pray
Wondering which light will light my way
I'm nothing
I'm nothing tonight

Going so slow through the wishes within
My dreams wait to come true, I wait to begin
Seemingly soft, gentle and true
Oh how I wish it were your eyes I once knew

I'm wishing
Make my dreams come true
I'm hoping
I'm hoping in vain someday I'll have you

My rainbow goes away
The clouds part to show me the way
To nothing
I'm nothing tonight
