ears reach and yawn
belch hearty

flips from berth ready

chistmas duck

dressed and plucked

classmate, high flight
top shelf,
alumnus fades

smoke as sudden as alarm
masks eared swift
liberation of human bellyful

the feast is scattered
as ash,

final rest~
fair fellow feathered
flight of full life
now drift sparse
merge to earth and wind,
never mind fire
