Delicate lace blows gently from whispers on the breeze
Warmth envelopes her from the memories of another day
She sits in know for he who has traveled onward and away
Gazing across the mountains high, the whiteness of clouds
Surrounding them with the billowy softness of her sighs
Eyes wide with wonder, she sees him as though he were there
Standing with arms outstretched beckoning her to him
Longing for the safety of his eternal embrace
Blinking she sees that he is fading and blown away
On the sands of yesterday; riding on the plains of tomorrow
She knows that he touches the same earth and sees the same moon
As it glows upon her silken flesh and surrounds her with light
And she is never alone even in the dark of the night
For he blows his breath within her being
And both know and taste and feel
Now and always. . .
