Um excuse me, but where you get off calling me weak?
Just because I stay dressed in fresh clothes, with new shoes on my feet.
You wanna put me down, and go around, calling me a punk.
Because my girl is fine as wine, with junk in her trunk.
I’m sick and tired of you haters, with all of your bad news.
Trying to tarnish my name, making yourselves look like fools.
I’m bout to break out and show ya’ll, what I’m really about.
Let my intellect and skills dispel, all clouds of doubt.
This world ain’t ready for a man like me to let go.
And if you didn’t know before, now you know.

Yeah I said it, you read it, ain’t no mistakes in my words.
And I possess the skills to back up, every word you heard.
Yes I’ll make mistakes and stumble, but I’ll be damned if I fall.
Legions of problems line up to fight me, and I’ll conquer them all.
Test me if you will, you can’t change my ways.
No one controls my actions, no man controls how I behave.
I was raised to be a rock, someone to always depend on.
I’ve had my share of trials and tribulations, how do you think I got this strong.
This world just ain’t ready, for a man like me to let go.
And if you didn’t know before, now you know.

I come off cocky to you? Good, maybe now you’ll see.
You must be well grounded, you dare to butt heads with me.
Talk the talk and not walk it that’s just not my style.
God’s been building this man, since I was but a child.
A man with strong family roots, his head on right.
Attempt to rock my foundation, be prepared to stay all night.
I protect mine at all cost, I give till it hurts.
If I must fight to defend what’s right, I’ll be putting in work.
This ole world just ain’t ready, for a man like me to let go.
And if you didn’t know before, now you know.

My mother didn’t raise me up, to be just half a man.
I was taught to push, with all I’ve got, every chance I can.
No matter what I choose to be, I was told to be the best.
So I set my mind to take my time, and be the best of the best.
I won’t pretend I’m more then I am, and you can’t bring me down.
If a battle you sought, when my path you crossed rest assured a battle you’ve found.
My minds my sword, my armor is faith, I won’t be swayed or moved.
I’m living my words everyday of my life, which leaves me nothing to prove.
Without a doubt this world ain’t ready, for a man like me to let go.
And if you didn’t know before, Now You Know.

Outstanding!

Loved it loved it loved it!

What a way to speak your mind

and i respect you for that.

Life is tough and pain makes

us stronger, everybody stumbles

but not everybody gets back up.

Fantastic poetry i loved

every word.

Thank you.
