This is where it's ended up
at last I must confess;
alcohol and drug abuse
has made my life a mess.
And now I must live for today
no future things or past;
help me one more day dear lord
with help I know I'll last.
Give me strength to carry on
and keep an open mind;
open towards the clean life
and the treasures I will find.
