Before nine months,
Only you know the burden
All my love

Springs here, smile!
Hanging from a nut tree,
Tender new leaves.

River currents run
you know this water well
Drawn from ancestors.

Our home not bricks:
Remember sheltering from the storm?
Wrapped in towels so warm!

Busy ears at work
They can’t take us for fools
Forever thankful

Fresh season, summer
You showed me the language;
kindness and patience

Floating on my back
Watching the laced black sky;
Your star keeps glowing.
