Oblivion

I slide my naked form between satin sheets,
Luxuriating in their caress on my skin.
My body instinctively seeking your warmth
The comfort of your embrace,
My curve mirroring your own.

I sense you stir, wake,
Your arms lazily circling me, cupping my breast
Then realization dawns and your hand is drawn down
Gooseflesh rising in the wake of your feathersoft touch,
Tracing downward from breast to thigh.

I feign sleep, but my movements betray me,
My thighs spreading to meet your tentative advances
You pause, listening to my shallow breaths, the telltale gasps
A shudder rolls through me as your fingers edge closer
In an excruciatingly slow procession

A sigh eases from between parted lips
As you explore my folds, burrowing deeper towards my core
The silence of the night punctuated by soft whimpers
As your finger slides deep inside
Coaxing me, teasing me

Soon all but the heat of your fingers fades from consciousness
Silence except for my urgency
Body melting, hips driven forward by frenzied want
Fingers clawing for purchase, desperate craving
Eyes clamped shut against the dark, breathing thick

Sudden loss, a gasp of disappointment,
Eyes snap open, searching for you in the inky room
Cold replaced by sudden heat as your lips sink onto mine,
Tasting my warmth, my desire
My hands tangled in your hair, driving you to me

Thighs clench, back arches
A strangled cry echoes in my ears

Fingers claw, delicious agony
Now, please?

Time dissolves,
