I am now a old man, i am in a field,
sitting alone, under a lemon tree,
the sun is shining i see birds fly around,
and i feel the wind curl around my body
I am happy, as i lie back and feel my life
slowly slip away.........and i dream
Le Roi est mort, Vive le roi.
I am the dove, now old, my wings slowly beating
I am struggling to keep moving, yet i do
My eyes look at the Tower....that tower that beckons me,
"Come, enter the Tower of Wisdom my friend,
return to principles"
And i enter the Tower, into the white light.
Now i am a man, again i am in that same room,
with the faceless cloaked man sitting on that wooden table
He turns and suddenly he is not faceless no more,
his face is the face of space with many stars within
"Procedamus in nomine, omni patri veritus Christie"
He holds out his hand and beckons me to take it,
i see my hand, old and skin dry and pale,
I know the end is at hand.
As i take his hand, i am swept into the face,
through the portal into a cast emptiness speckled with,
countless stars,
I am alone yet i do not fear, for i realise that this is the beginning
The Stars seem to shift and blur and a path forms
"Return to the Path of Beleif, come child"
And i begin to walk
Every step i take, leads me down that path,
Up ahead i see a bright white brilliance, it is pulsating
And i am guided into that light, to my destiny,
as i move into it, i feel all my worries leave me,
I no longer worry for a sense of calmness pervades my soul
and in fact i am now just the soul, no flesh no body
Just a soul.
I am now a dove, a snake and a horse, i see myself in my forms
and i look upon a throne and see a figure that smiles at me
The figure in brilliance stares at me and beckons me forward
And suddenly i hear a sweet voice that whispers
" I am the first and the last, the beginning and the end and the
Alpha and Omega, i am the mother and father, i am love and hate,
I am good and evil, yet i am the heaven and the earth"
And i look back and see the Earth and my past and smile
at what i had and what i lost and what i never could have,
